How can I book a session?
Booking a session with me is simple - Find the "contact" button at the top, and fill out the form. You can also email me directly at hivehoneyphoto@gmail.com - If you don't hear back from me, be sure to check your spam folder!
I am a full time mother to two little ones, my youngest has special needs. Due to this, I am only available on rotating days when my fiancé is home from work. I try to be as flexible as I can be. Let's chat!
How long will it take to get my photos?
For basic sessions, my typical turnaround time is 14 business days.
HOWEVER - I am known for a very quick turnaround, I like to get your memories back to you ASAP for you to enjoy.
What kind of editing do you do?
I believe in highlighting my clients natural beauty. I never want to remove the natural charm from a subject, any retouching I do is only where necessary. This is usually through minor lighting and color adjustments.
Carefully sorting through and culling images is a huge part of my editing process.
NOTE: All images are a representation of artistic talent, therefore, no photos will be sent unedited. I will not ever send out RAW files.
What if it rains?
The Panhandle is known for it's afternoon rain storms. Thankfully, this crazy Florida weather usually clears up pretty quick. Overcast skies are always great for lighting, it's like the sky is one big soft box!
If you’ve scheduled an outdoor session with me, and it is rainy, let’s try to wait until the last minute to decide how to proceed. For the safety of you and I, however, I will not shoot if it is lightning.
If we are unable to reschedule and can not relocate (vacation homes and covered porches or pavilions can make for some beautiful photos!), then I will refund you your deposit! - It's in my contract.
What types of sessions do you offer?
Currently capturing couples, kids, families, and extended families.
I absolutely love growing with my clients and becoming their forever photographer.
Do I get ALL of the photos from my session?
I will deliver your finished photos after careful edits and considerations.
Why is that? You honestly do not want "ALL" of your photos, because the ones I do not upload generally fall into at least one of the following categories: almost identical duplicates, outtakes due to motion blur, eyes closed, hair in the face (especially during beach sessions!), unflattering poses or facial expressions.
